Evaluation of statistical quality control (SPC) in solving the stability of processes in die castings

The aim of the theoretical part of this thesis is to describe the system of the aluminium casting alloys, with focus on the aluminium castings used for die casting. In this part of the thesis the different methods of the quality management are described. The practical application of these methods is described in the experimental part of this thesis, in which we focus on the evaluation of the statistical quality management and the process stability of the die casting parts of the selector mechanism cover. This part of the thesis also contains suggestion for the QFD method for this cast.

In my graduation these I have been dealing with introducing of a new system of quality in the firm. My these has been divided into two parts. In the first instance I have described academic conception and tools of quality management. In the second part I have been dealing with analyzing the present state in the firm and remedy proposals for improve present situation. At the end of second part I have brought forward economic evaluation.

This master‘s thesis deals with the analysis of the management system according to the international standard ISO 9001. It gives an explanation of the meaning of the particular standards in the area of quality management and defines the key areas in the management system of the industrial company. The practical part of the thesis is a review of the management system at Meva, identification of the deficiencies and proposal for their elimination using the QFD and FMEA methods.
